The Triple Threat: Meditation, Mantras and Manifestation

How-to Back your Desires Wholeheartedly

Although I am no proficianado at manifestation, I can tell you that what I’ve dabbled in has worked and turned me into a complete believer in the power behind positive thinking and feeling.

We generally know what meditation is and what self-identified, motivational mantras are, but what about manifestation?

I define manifestation as a clear desire backed by a heightened sense of self-belief that comes to fruition.

Manifestion according to Spiritual Manifestation: What is it? is “[a vision] that through regular meditation and positive, constructive thought, you can make your dreams and desires become reality.” It brings in the law-of-attraction: how you think, also, what your attitude is, towards and about something will attract an outcome of a similar energetic plain.

How-to start manifesting your desires today

There are numerous ways to go about manifesting dreams into reality, but the following steps are those I have taken that have helped me to back my visions wholeheartedly.:

1.     Create Crystal Clear Intentions - This is the title of an oracle card that I pull regularly from my angel card deck when I am asking God and my angels for direction. It always makes me chuckle, because what they are essentially saying is “We hear you ask for help, but tell us WHAT it is you want help with and WHAT your ideal outcome is.” Identify clearly what it is that you want. Be specific.

2.     Meditate on The Details- Are you craving clarity on what it is that you desire? Often, I find myself generally knowing what my dreams are, but this step asks you to go deeper. And how do you do that? For me there is no greater way than through meditation.

I will go to my grave saying this, but the purest form of personal clarity is through a deep and profound connection with your intuition and your highest self. Meditation allows us to quiet the internal chatter and self-dialogue that clucks away in our mind throughout most of our days, along with the external noise that can influence our decisions, and aids us in bringing to surface our deepest wishes. Ones that are often in complete alignment with our true self. It is clear direction that when you immediately think about it, it just feels “right” and brings a lightness to your mind + chest, hope, happiness and inspiration.

3.     Write Down Your Wish List - Maybe you are opening yourself up to finding a romantic partner or a dream home whatever the case is, write down exactly what you want and how you want to feel. I am going to hold myself back from going on a tangent here but ensure that what you want supports how you want to feel. This will help you to cut out the bull shit of what you think you want and call in what it is that you actually want because it supports how you envision yourself feeling when you have it.

This can be a few short sentences, bullets or a novel. Place your list somewhere in plain sight.

4.     Create Mantras - Out of your wish list, create a few personal mantras to carry forth with you throughout your day. Maybe you find yourself making dinner mindlessly; bring in positive thoughts surrounding your desires coming true: “The home of my dreams, with big, bright light, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, situated on a quiet yet kind street of neighbors with a lush, private backyard, filling me with warmth, joy, inspiration and security every day, is going to enter my life.”

Keep at it! Your mind will flip a switch of: “oh gosh, I feel silly doing this…” to “HECK YES! My dream home is right around the corner, I cannot wait to meet it.”

5.     Back Yourself - Which brings us to an important point: You cannot just state these mantras while feeling a tinge of doubt that they will occur. Or half-heartedly put them out into the Universe because you want to give manifestation a whirl. No, you have to believe it will come true. You have to open yourself up to feeling the excitement when you speak to your mantras, and fist pump the air because you know it is going to occur. There has to be energy behind your words. You have to believe that you deserve what it is that you are asking for.

6. Be Proactive - As one of the experts in the law of attraction, Abraham Hicks, states: “Action that is inspired from aligned thoughts is joyful action.” Be proactive. Put your desires in-action and allow room for magic to happen.

7.     Be Patient & Exercise Grace - Based on my own personal experience, those desires I manifest typically come to fulfillment within a month’s time. After that, I understand that whatever I am asking for is either not for my best or highest good or that it isn’t the right time {aka divine timing}. When I say something may not be for my best and highest good, I mean that something won’t benefit my quality of life right now. For example, if I am trying to manifest a dream job, and it’s not happening, maybe the Universe is telling me to “hang on, you are close to an alternative soon.” Then I get a coveted promotion I’ve been hoping for, but hanging my hat on switching jobs altogether because I thought my hard work was going unnoticed. Remember, although frustration and impatience are natural responses, especially in our instantaneous society, both are energies that you are putting out into the world around you. Also, this frame of mind may make you decide on a rash decision that won’t benefit you. And you know when you are making a rash decision, believe me.

The final recommendation I will leave you with is to manifest dreams one at a time. Don’t spread yourself spiritually thin! Yes, I would love to wake-up one day and have everything plop down from the heavens into my lap, but that wouldn’t allow me to marvel at each gift that the Universe is bestowing upon me. It makes those manifestations all that more special, when I do receive them.

Define it.

Back it.

Believe it.

Create it.

You are so deserving. I know you are, but you have to believe it for yourself.

Thoughts become things. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand.
